and vacation resort, located on the Horseshoe Chain of Lakes, in Central
Minnesota.
Riverside Resort has an unparalleled history of being one of
the oldest family owned resorts in all of Minnesota. Throughout the
resort's seventy-eight year transformation from rustic to deluxe, Riverside's
unique history of service to vacationers has remained constant by stressing
cleanliness, friendliness, and personalized service.
As part of this personalized service, guests at Riverside
Resort enjoy Sunday gospel singers and performers, scheduled
volleyball games, resort picnics, fireworks on the 4th of July,
marshmallow roasts, weekly coloring contests, and visits from
Riverside Rabbit, the life-size resort mascot. Near the
wooded area Riverside Rabbit calls home, guests will also find
campground facilities, a safe, sandy swimming beach with a water
slide, a basketball court, horseshoes, a volleyball court, a large
playground area, and a great variety of fishing on the Horseshoe
Chain of Lakes.
A picturesque view of the Horseshoe Chain of Lakes awaits guests
in each of our sixteen cottages. Each housekeeping cottage is immaculate and
features many comforts of home, including complete kitchens, full baths,
comfortable bedrooms, and a living area with color cable television. Our
sixteen deluxe cottages, including two wheelchair accessible lakeshore
units, also feature air-conditioning, sliding glass patio doors, and spacious
sundecks.
Our Central Minnesota location provides close access to quaint country
shops, fine dining, shopping malls, movie theatres, golfing, bowling,
roller-skating, horseback riding tennis courts, and much more! Whether
